Its has a good layout and nice UI but the most prominent bug that I found is that you cant switch the language at all. Even when the audio setting is Japanese, it still plays in English Dubs. Until this is fixed my rating will unfortunately be just a 1*. Its a small thing I understand but as a paying customer resources are there to be able to fix a small bug right? Thanks, hope this gets addressed soon.

The app needs an option to set the resolution its always on auto. My internet isnt the greatest where I live so it keeps pausing every minute, its so annoying. Right now for $10 bucks a month its not worth it when I cant even watch an episode without it pausing 20 times.

This new app is good its free and as a paid subscriber, I was unhappy with the resection on the old app. I would have rated 5 but you for to add the more info button so one could read the description of the anime and could you fix the no sound on vibrate Im tired of turning my ringer on just to listen . Other then that has worked perfectly. One last thing is you could remove.

Even though there is a great selection of anime available and it is very fluid compare to previous app, few things in the app are weird... Like the "netflix alike" predetermined list showing all the same shows... I dont see the need when there is a full list with better sorting options available. Bigest fail: there is no way to tell which ep of a show you watched last and the "continue watching" options bring you back to 1st ep of a show ignoring your language settings... Not user friendly when you try to follow many shows.

Theyve made a lot of progress since the previous app, apart from a few bugs the app is pretty much perfect. So long as they keep updating the app Im sure itll see a lot of use.

Solid app. Ive run into occasional bugs, but overall im satisfied. I think Ill enjoy the app more once it supports AppleTV! Looking forward to that!

Nice to see a new app but the Chromecast integration is poorly done. I can still play the video on my device and because of that, playing/pausing doesnt work very well.

This is a load I cant pay for a subscription and I want to be able to watch it off my phone instead of on my laptop but I guess watching it off my laptop is better because I can actually watch the episodes this is a disappointment let the app be able to be used for free subscription theres no point in having a free app if you can just go online and watch it

I bought the previous FUNimation app, tried to redeem my 60-day free trial gift, but it still asks for my debit or credit information. I dont have either of those. Why would a "free trial" button ask for credit information? Fix this, and at least let me use my iTunes currency

So I bought the og app for 10$ and since they abandoned it they say theyll give you a 60 day free trail but at first they didnt send me the email and I tried over and over again but nothing but like a month later I got it and guess what I still have to put in credit card info for a free trail yeah no thanks but thanks fumigation you took my 10$ and gave me a false gift

Overall the the interface is simpler to deal with compared to the old app. I find searching for show based on first letter of show name lacking. Maybe it is me but seems like maybe not all shows are listed in the unfiltered view. Would love to be able to adjust video quality manually to something like 1080p or 480p kind of feels like. Being forced to lower quality when I dont need to.be (device supports 1080p and home network is more the.capable).

I wrote to customer support over a week ago in regards to why Im paying for subtitled anime, when the apps language switcher doesnt work. I also asked them why One Piece is in every category (slice of life, and fan service). In the message I sent them, I had told them that me, and our schools anime club agreed to unsub if things remained unfixed, let alone be acknowledged, and we did just that. 27 paid subscribers down the drain. For people that want to watch subbed anime on the go, just do what Im doing, which is unsubbing and watching it for free, ripped from places like Anilinkz, Animeshow, GoGoanime, and other services that provide more than this big-name company can. They come out same day as Crunchy Roll and Funimatiom does. ^ Ad Blocker app works well with it. Good job, Funimation!

Its funny how my four star came down to one... After resenting my password I have to pay my subscription again? Maybe this is just a bug, I dont know. Good and annoying way to get money but you should know youll be loosing a lot of your costumers by doing this.

Listen, I used to love this app but after a little incident where they tried cancelling my subscription after I changed my password then me getting it back. I realized while I was trying to get it to work again, I had accidentally started a free trial which I can’t escape because Funimation won’t let you change your subscription plans and Apple won’t let you fully cancel a plan. Thanks a lot. This sure adds to my terrible week. Thanks.

I bought the old funimation app for $11.99 and this one isnt letting me use it without paying again.
