Its pretty good and it cost anime subscription its less than crunchyroll and also there are more anime in funimation than cruchyroll Im sorry crunchyroll :/

Loved this app until a few days ago when it just stopped working. Whenever I go to watch a show nothing loads. Rip

The video overlay definitely needs to be able to be "tapped away". It gets in the way. On top of that, I have my preferences set to Japanese, and have selected the Japanese audio manually, but on any video that has a dub available, the video player will play the dubbed audio. Ive deleted and reinstalled it several times, but nothing will change this. How this app passes the quality check, I do not know. At least the video player doesnt break every hour and lock up for a day like the last one.

I was excited to get this app so that I could stream it through chrome cast. App works fine on my iPhone but doesnt on my iPad. It doesnt get passed the sign in and when I do it keeps asking me to try a free subscription... Which I dont need cause Im already subscribing. Which is such a bummer. Sometime I like to watch shows on my iPad instead of casting it. And my iPhone is a little too small sometimes.

The only things i want to fix is make it possible to make the pause screen go away. I dont like how it stays around for 5 seconds, can we just make it go away when we want it to?

Just got a message saying that this app is using a server that has access to confidential information. Now I can finish my show because the app wont open.

This app was working fine till I decided to get a subscription, from then on, it was problem after problem and no help whatsoever from Funimation customer service. No sound from animes, than I got a error message keeping from going past the menu !! Dont waste your time and money on this app, just go to crunchyroll instead

I think the old app was better. it needs a schedule so ppl can see up comming shows and set reminders for them

I just wish yall had uncut version of Tokyo ghoul. And if you plan on getting on when will that be? Cause this is really annoying. I wilk like uncut versions of animes available

The new app is cool well laid out. And, I love that all of my favorite shows are laid out for easy axcess. But some of my shows arent available like season 2 and 3 of HDXD what gives. All that aside keep new app is an ok start keep the upgrades coming. Update So Ive had the app for a couple of weeks. I continue to watch the original FUNimation app until it is officially shut down mainly because still some of my favorite shows have not completely been transferred to the new app. There are errors the pop up when trying to watch shows like date-a-live for example which causes the show not to play. I hope in future updates this can be resolved OK so we are about 30 days out before funimation now becomes the permit app. I love the new look and its easier to get to my favorite shows but I am still hoping that you guys fix the bugs before the old app is shutdown in May. Still cant watch Highschool DXD and some other shows come up as errors. This is weird but, until the app is stable I. Will continue to use the old app. Current rate 3.5 out of 5 Keep getting bad response 500 on certain shows what gives?

There are a couple nice options, like playing next episode automatically. Trouble is that even though I pay by the year for a subscription I get less shows on the current app than I did on the previous version. Also I cant choose the video quality ( sd, 720p or 1080p) which is a must since my internet provider has a usage limit that triggers fees automatically if I go over. It doesnt keep very good track of where I left off in a series either.

This version of the app is leaps and bounds better than the last one. The only problems I have are as follows: Cons: 1. Sound has to be turned on in order for show sound to be heard. 2. Shows recently watched will not be shown in the progress bar for the series that you are on. This is kind of a big deal, especially if you cant remember where you left off in a series.

Lack of content , very hard on app to tell when new ep of show you are watching is coming out and app tends to crash a lot when running on data network compared to other show apps

Two stars for potential, but I dont like that in order to use it, its 100% required that you pay to use it. I can just go on kissanime, crunchy roll, etc for free content and good quality (given you dont sub to cr). When I found out that after my free month trial there would be automatic charges to my account, I deleted it.

I dont usually have a problem with subtitles, but my daughter has grown to enjoy watching Anime with me and she cannot read yet.... It would really be great if I could let her watch it in English on my phone for car rides. Plus Assassination Classroom will not pull up on the app at all, it says "500 ERROR" Whats going on???

I really enjoy being able to watch my favorite anime on the go. I only wish they had a play all feature or the ability to continue watching the same series without having to manually choose the next episode. Having to skip forward for each episode though the opening credits can become annoying. You can only listen to the opening song so many time before you just dont want to hear it again for awhile. If they could make that upgrade that would be great.

Ok,first of its a good app.Downside,you have to pay monthly.Its stupid!What about the people who just want to watch anime!?Im telling this to you FUNimation,MAKE IT FREE!!

Much better layout, but the sound just doesnt work about 50% of the time which was the major problem with the old app. I can forgive that you cant tap out the buttons, but no sound? Unacceptable.

Shows like fairy tail wont even show up , Certain episodes have delayed words and every time you click on an episode you have to re apply the English auto .
